Places to Visit in Prague in One Day
No matter how many times I’ve been to Prague, I always find myself walking through its charming streets—and every time, it makes me happy. Czechia experiences all four seasons, each transforming Prague in its own unique way: spring brings vibrant blooms, summer offers a cool, lively atmosphere, autumn paints the city in rich hues, and winter enchants with its magical Christmas markets.
Charles Bridge
Walk along the bridge, admire the statues, and enjoy the views of Prague Castle and the Vltava river. Listen to street performers , have your caricature drawn or shop for souvenirs. One of the charming sights at Charles Bridge is the old-fashioned way the lamps are lit at dusk. It’s a cool tradition to witness and adds to the bridge’s nostalgic atmosphere. For breathtaking views, climb the Old Town Bridge Tower located at one end of Charles Bridge.
Prague Castle
Make sure to visit Prague Castle during your time in the city. Situated high above the Vltava River, it offers breathtaking views of Prague’s skyline. Explore its grand courtyards, majestic halls, and historic churches. Don’t miss the changing of the guards ceremony, another fascinating tradition.

Wander through the narrow streets lined with elegant buildings and soak in the atmosphere of this fascinating neighborhood, which is a testament to resilience and heritage.
Enjoy Czech Beer
Prague is famous for its beer, so head to a local pub and savor some authentic Czech brews. There are even beer tours you can take. Additionally, the brewery U Fleků is one of the few breweries in Central Europe that has been brewing continuously for over 500 years.
The Lennon Wall
This colorful mural, dedicated to John Lennon and his message of peace and love, is adorned with graffiti, lyrics, and messages from visitors around the world.
