North America was our home for twenty years—two whole decades of road trips, adventures, and discovering some of the most incredible places on the planet. We didn’t just visit; we explored, crisscrossing the country from west to east and back again, soaking in everything from buzzing cities to quiet historic towns and, most importantly, its jaw-dropping natural wonders.

But if there’s one thing that truly stole our hearts, it’s the national parks. North America is packed with them, each more breathtaking than the last. When I think about our time there, I don’t just picture highways and city skylines—I see endless forests, towering mountains, vibrant canyons, and still lakes that made us feel like we were part of something much bigger than ourselves.

Yosemite, with its legendary El Capitan and roaring waterfalls, left us speechless. Sequoia National Park made us feel tiny beneath its ancient giants. The Grand Canyon’s sheer scale was humbling, Bryce Canyon’s hoodoos looked like something from another planet, and Arches was like nature’s own sculpture garden. And it wasn’t just about the landscapes—the wildlife made every trip even more special. We were lucky enough to spot bears wandering through the forests, wolves in the distance, and herds of bison crossing the plains.

These places weren’t just destinations; they were experiences that left a mark on us. They reminded us of nature’s raw power, its beauty, and how small yet connected we are to this world. No matter where we go, those memories stay with us—proof that some places don’t just impress you, they become a part of you.
