Christmas House in Karlovy Vary

Who doesn’t love Christmas? I know I do! Especially the preparations—decorating the house, hanging up lights, trimming the tree, wrapping gifts, and baking holiday treats. And with kids and family around, it just feels even more magical.

But then, like clockwork, New Year’s rolls around, and suddenly, the Christmas tree looks like a sad, bare twig. The decorations start getting in the way of cleaning, and the dining table becomes a battlefield between the holiday wreath, candles, a gingerbread house, and that fancy white velvet reindeer—constantly being moved depending on whether it’s time to eat or work on the laptop.

But what if I told you there’s a place where Christmas never ends? In Karlovy Vary, you can pack up the decorations at home and still get your Christmas fix whenever you want!

About the Christmas House

The Christmas House first opened its doors in 2008 as the very first shop in the Czech Republic dedicated entirely to Christmas. But it’s not just about festive decorations—you’ll also find one of the largest teddy bear collections in the country, featuring both plush and ceramic bears. In fact, this collection is officially listed in the “Czech Book of Records” and is even aiming for a spot in the Guinness World Records!

The displays are always changing, so every visit feels a little different. One time, you might walk into a room filled with Winnie the Pooh bears, another time, it could be all about panda bears or beautifully themed color-coordinated spaces. Whether you’re a kid or just a kid at heart, the Christmas House is a magical place that brings joy all year round!
