Las Vegas Itinerary        4 Days in Sin City

I’ve been to Las Vegas so many times I’ve lost count. I still remember my first visit though, and let me tell you, Vegas looked completely different back then—I’m talking 20 years ago. Since then, Vegas has expanded with new buildings, hotels, and arenas. It’s almost impossible to walk the entire Strip like we used to.

People know Vegas as Sin City and Party City, and rightfully so. It’s one of the few places where you can walk around with an alcoholic drink in hand. Most hotels have large casinos, multiple bars, nightclubs, and restaurants. It’s a place where people celebrate birthdays or bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Iconic "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada" sign surrounded by palm trees under a bright blue sky, evoking a vibrant and exciting atmosphere.

Weather

Las Vegas has a desert climate, characterized by very hot summers, mild winters (but bring your jackets), and very little rainfall, making it a year-round destination with mostly sunny weather.

What a Perfect Day in Las Vegas Looks Like

Start your adventure with a photo op at the iconic “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign. Enjoy brunch at Mon Ami Gabi, located at Paris Las Vegas, offering a fantastic view of the Strip. Spend your afternoon walking along the Strip, visiting famous casinos like Bellagio (don’t miss the fountain show), Caesars Palace, and The Venetian (take a gondola ride). Indulge in some shopping at The Forum Shops or The Grand Canal Shoppes. In the evening, dine at a celebrity chef restaurant such as Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen, and catch a world-class show like Cirque du Soleil.

Honestly, if you have 4 days in Las Vegas, you can copy and paste this perfect day, just add some pool time, especially in the summer. Explore different hotels like MGM, Wynn, Cosmopolitan, and Treasure Island—each competing to be the most posh and unique with extravagant shows and decorations. Don’t forget to indulge in a spa treatment and try different restaurants each night.

You can try your luck in the casinos, from roulette to cards to craps—they have everything you could want. And, of course, on a perfect day, you might cash in some serious money at one of the casinos.

The Story Behind Steve Wynn

Steve Wynn, the founder of Wynn Resorts, adopted a vegan lifestyle around 2010, driven by health benefits, ethical considerations, and environmental sustainability. Inspired by friends and information on plant-based diets, Wynn sought to improve his heart health, manage weight, and boost energy levels through veganism. His ethical concerns for animal welfare and the environmental impact of meat consumption further solidified his commitment.

Steve Wynn’s adoption of a vegan lifestyle and his influence on the dining options at his resorts have had a lasting impact. By integrating vegan menus into his properties, he demonstrated a commitment to health, sustainability, and ethical eating, which has been embraced by many guests and has contributed to the broader acceptance of veganism in the hospitality industry.
