I am Vegan Mum

I’ve been vegetarian or vegan for most of my life now. At first, I wasn’t sure how much I wanted to include veganism in my travel and lifestyle blog—if at all. But to keep it authentic, I decided to share it all in #VeganLife. No preaching, no judging—just my journey toward a plant-based diet, a bit of activism, and of course, my favorite tips and recipes.

I’m not a “perfect” vegan (is there even such a thing?). Over the years, I’ve made plenty of mistakes, questioned my choices, and debated things like supporting different animal-related activities. But hey, that’s life—messy, imperfect, and full of learning moments.

And let’s be real—finding good food is a huge part of my travels. I still remember that time a group of colleagues chose a giant restaurant where there was literally nothing for me to eat. I quietly excused myself, but to my surprise, my closest colleagues got up and joined me in the search for something better. We ended up stumbling upon a hidden gem—an amazing little spot with delicious food and the best atmosphere.

Or that time in Jamaica when I found a tiny vegan shack serving the most flavorful (and ridiculously cheap) food. That simple meal led to a private tour of a small village, an experience I never would have had otherwise.

What I’m saying is—sometimes, the search for a vegan-friendly restaurant turns into an adventure of its own. And thanks to HappyCow, it’s never been easier to explore and eat well. #VeganLife
